Florence County Economic Development is pleased to host Michael Lesneski from the Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) in the Florence County Courthouse 2nd floor conference room on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 8:00am – 4:30pm. Businesses can schedule one-on-one appointments to learn how to be considered for government contracts. They are availablle for many more products and services than you might imagine on the federal, state and local level.

The Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) is a non-profit organization helping Wisconsin businesses win government contracts. There are significant contracting opportunities locally through the US Forest Service, National Park Service, Volk Field, Fort McCoy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Department of Veterans Affairs as well as other Federal and State / Local agencies.
WPI assistance is provided at no cost to Wisconsin businesses with support from the Department of Defense (DLA) and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
