WDNR Bat Survey

The Department of Natural Resources will be conducting a "BAT SURVEY". They are looking for volunteers to survey and map bat populations in Northeast Wisconsin. Volunteers are able to help with monitoring of their favorite lakes and trails in Florence and Forest County. A training session for anyone interested will be held on Tuesday May 8th from 8 to 10 pm at the Floence Natural Resource Center (lower level). If you are interested in learning more about these fascinating creatures, there will be an Environmental Stewardship Program on May 17th.
