The rescheduled Keyes Peak Roberts Memorial Ski Lessons and Race will be held Saturday, February 23rd from 9am – 3pm. Sign up soon. Spaces fill up fast and preregistration is required. To register go to www.ExploreFlorenceCounty.com and click on the events section to print the registration form and waivers. Call the visitor center with questions: 715-528-5377.

The Granite Peak Ski Team coaching staff from Wausau, WI, provides ski lessons and racing for kids ages 6-17 for only $10.00 ($20 max per family). The $10 fee covers the daily lift ticket, ski rentals if needed and lessons from the Granite Peak Ski Team coaches from 9:00am until 11:30am.

After lunch, students can race for free on an official NASTAR course from 12:30 until 3pm during the Roberts Memorial Ski Race. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the fastest male and female race times in the following age categories: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17. The fastest skier of the day will receive the Mike Roberts Memorial Trophy.

Keyes Peak is located 4 miles south of Florence on Hwy 101.
