Northern Saddle Club supports Wisconsin Horse Council
April 1, 2019
Northern Saddle Club
The Wisconsin Horse Council is a non-profit organization representing horsemen and women and the equine industry in WI. In representing the equine industry, they promote the horse through leadership, education, and service, and take a proactive role in the growth of their industry.
They own and produce one of the largest and most successful horse expos in the U.S.-the Midwest Horse Fair. Which will be held April 12-14th, 2019.
They annually award scholarships, sponsorship's, and trail grants at levels that provide significant financial help to students, equine charity events, clubs who are building and improving trails for recreational riding, etc. The Northern Saddle Club has received thousands of dollars for trail and trail head improvements from them.
They conduct a 4-day school on designing and building sustainable trails for multi-use. Some of our club members have participated in this program. They take an active role in legislative matters affecting both the state and the national equine industry. Visit http://www.wisconsinhorsecouncil.org
The Northern Saddle Club would like to thank the Wisconsin State Horse Council for all they do. The Northern Saddle Club is a family oriented trail horse club which works with the Florence County Forestry and Parks Department and has helped developed a wonderful trail system of over 30 miles of trails to ride.
