Government Contracting Opportunities for Small Businesses

Florence, WI…. On Tuesday, May 23rd, from 10:50am – 12:30pm, staff from the Wisconsin Procurement Institute (WPI) and Small Business Administration (SBA) are offering business owners a training session designed to introduce small businesses to the option of selling their products or services to the government. The event will be in the 2nd floor conference room at the Florence County Courthouse in Florence. Both Wisconsin and Michigan businesses are welcome to attend.

The Federal government buys pretty much everything – from military vehicles to tree planting services; from office furniture to IT support. This event will show you how to find government opportunities, how to sell products and services to the government, financial resources and assistance to help you as well as possible opportunities to subcontract.
