The "Fresh Water Project" by The Northern Saddle Club of Florence County for the Halls Creek Equestrian Trailhead is complete and we would like to invite the public to join us for a dedication and thank you celebration with a corn roast and water sampling to follow.

The family oriented trail riding Club was established in 1999.  They have been busy developing two equestrian trail systems with equine friendly camping at both trailheads: Hall's Creek and Bush Lake Flats. There are over 50 miles of trails to ride including a trail that connects the two.

The new potable well at Hall's Creek was made possible through grants from The Lumberjack Resource Conservation & Development Council and The Wisconsin State Horse Council.  The non-profit club held fundraisers such as the Gun Rifle last Fall and a tack sale this Spring.

Time, materials and donations were supplied by: Florence County Forestry and Parks, Florence County Highway Department, Florence County Chamber of Commerce, Florence County Businesses, donations left by users in the donation box at trailhead and volunteer members of the Northern Saddle Club.

The well was installed in August, 2020 and is 340' deep, the pump is manual and electric. It can be run using a portable generator supplying 110V. The Northern Saddle Club welcomes all visitors to utilize this potable water source.

Directions to Hall's Creek Equestrian Trailhead: Traveling from Florence take County Road N to County Road C.  Once on County Road C, look for Hall's Creek Dam Road.  Follow Horse parking signs to Hall's Lake.
