The Florence High School Tech Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 26th from 1:30pm - 3pm in the high school cafeteria (use the public library entrance).
What is the Tech Fair?
• A showcase of unique learning opportunities, projects and coursework at FHS with Industry Partner project feedback and review
•A way to learn about local businesses, fast-growing industries, and the skills required for students to be successful in the workforce
How does it work?
Attend any time from 1:30-3 p.m.
Tour NWTC Mobile Learning Centers
Visit Tables That Interest You:
- High School STEAM projects from Fab Lab, Wood Shop, Metals, Drafting, CAD/CAM, Art and Family Consumer
- NWTC Dual Credit classes in Electro Mechanical, Nursing, Microsoft Certification and English
- Business displays from Systems Control, Pride Manufacturing, Florence Hardwoods and Verso Corp.
•Students: Start identifying career paths and which courses to choose in high school. Students will have the opportunity to attend the Tech Fair during the school day.
•Parents/Guardians: Help your child prepare for the future.
•Community Members: See how FHS learning opportunities have grown and evolved.
•Everyone: Learn how FHS is helping prepare students for the fastest-growing industries. Also learn more about our regional manufacturing partners and the job opening they have now and in the future
