3rd Annual Mike Roberts Memorial Ski Race Results

The weather held in the 20’s on Saturday for the 80 students who participated in the 3nd Annual Mike Roberts Memorial Ski Race and Lessons event at Keyes Peak Ski Hill in Florence, WI. Organizers really appreciate the coaches, staff and skiers from Granite Peak Ski Team who traveled from Wausau to volunteer their time and racing equipment for this awesome event. As Head Coach Jeff Tobin explains, “It’s just fun to see so many kids’ learn to ski or improve their skills at this great facility. We love to come up to Florence to help develop new skiers in memory of our friend and family member Mike Roberts who spent his winters skiing at Keyes Peak”. Local sponsors were Grantie Peak Ski Team, Florence Utilities (WPPI Energy), Florence Mining News, Florence County Abstract, and Florence County Forestry & Parks. Proceeds go to the Keyes Peak Ski Hill Committee for equipment upgrades.
