"Leave Your Mark" FHS Brick ProjectIn 2018, the Florence Middle and High School were completely renovated. Here is your chance to "Leave Your Mark" by participating in a project sponsored by the Florence County Historical Society to form a pathway from the school cafeteria to Olive Avenue. By purchasing a paving brick, your name (or names) will become a permanent part of the pathway. The deadline for purchasing a brick(s) is August 1, 2019. Together our bricks will represent a strong commitment to education and our community.

It contains pictures and historic details about 37 noteworthy buildings and sites in Florence. A numbered map in the booklet directs your tour which starts at the Museum (#1)located at 201 Florence Avenue across from Steamin’ Joe’s Coffee Shop on US Hwy 2.
