Trout Habitat Improvement Evaluations in Florence and Forest Counties Jan. 27, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
	The next Outdoor Education program will be Tuesday, January 27 at 6:00 pm at the Florence Natural Resource Center lower level conference room.  Ever wonder if trout habitat enhancement projects work?  Greg Matzke, DNR fisheries biologist, recently evaluated the impact of a dozen different habitat projects on one of the best systems in this area.  At this presentation, he will walk through them one by one to explain if the effort put into these trout streams has paid off.   - More Information

Chili in the Woods Feb. 7, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
	The “Chili in the Woods” snowshoeing event will be Saturday, February 7 at the Keyes Peak Chickadee Trails this year from 10am – 2pm.  If there is not enough snow to snowshoe, participants can hike the trails instead.  The 1.5 mile Chickadee Trail connects to the new 4 mile mountain bike trail system at the top of Keyes Peak.    - More Information
