Badwater Bass Tourney pays out $2778 in Cash Prizes   « Back

“One More Try” was the winning team at the July 15th Badwater Bass Tourney on the Twin Falls Flowage in Spread Eagle, WI. Mike and Kyle Komorowski from Oak Creek, WI registered 6 bass weighing a total of 15.1 lbs. They received a cash prize of $1,316. The largest single bass, a large mouth weighing 4.6 lbs, was caught by Tim Braun from Muskego, WI. He received a Lowrance Hook 4 fish finder donated by event sponsor Nine Lakes Sport & Marine. The top 7 teams received cash prizes totaling $2778. Next year’s tourney will be Saturday, July 14th, 2018. The 8th-10th place teams received prizes donated by the following businesses: Maxsells Suites, El Capitan Supper Club, Camping in the Clouds and Mine Shaft Bar & Grill, Tavern on Central, Saloon No. 2, Northern Lites and Whisler Outdoors. Event top 10 finishers were:

3rd: Mike Ninnemann, Jesse Delfosse (12.4 lbs) from Wausaukee, WI
4th: Joe Sr, Joe Jr Gengalo (12 lbs) from Crandon, WI
5th: Josh Wolf, Ryan Yaeger (11 lbs) from DePere, WI
6th: Tom Homan, Zach Wallace (10.9 lbs) from Cecil, WI
7th: Nick Lewis, Joel Vanlanen (10.65 lbs) from DePere, WI
8th: Greg & Rachel Werner (10.45 lbs) from Niagara, WI
9th: Mike Tompkins, Shawn Williams (9.95 lbs) from Green Bay, WI
10th: Brian Schultz, Duane Halvas (9.9 lbs) from Marquette, MI
