At Keyes Peak Winterfest on Saturday March 4th, you pay only $15/person for a whole day of skiing, snowboarding or tubing. This price includes rental equipment, lift ticket and the chance to take part in other fun family activities. The event starts at 11:00am and the lift ticket is good until hill closing at 9:00pm. This is a family value you cannot pass up. This event is sponsored by the Florence County Chamber of Commerce, Florence County Forestry & Parks and the Keyes Peak Ski Hill Committee.
Keyes Peak Ski Hill is located 4 miles south of Florence on Hwy 101. Its sculpted tubing run has the best vertical drop around so non-skiers can enjoy the Hill too. Keyes Peak offers runs for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders plus rails and jumps. It’s a great place to warm-up, relax, play games, make new friends and have refreshments. The Keyes Peak kitchen offers a variety of food and beverages all day to fuel you up for another trip down the hill. Did you know you can rent this beautiful facility after ski season for weddings and parties?
Or bring your snowshoes and explore the Chickadee snowshoe trails near the lodge. Disc golfers can play the 12-hole Keyes Peak course in the winter too. Other activities at Winterfest include human bowling and snow ball launch competitions. So come enjoy a day in the sun with family and friends.
