ATV/UTV Trail Ride for a Cure

The 2nd Annual Trail Ride for a Cure will take place on Saturday, August 18. Registration begins at 8am at The Visitor Center in Florence. Ride begins at 9am and will be approximately 80 miles with a couple of stops along the way.

The ride ends at Keyes Lake Campground with burgers, brats, hotdogs, and all the fixings. 50/50 and bucket raffles available as well as a grand prize drawing. Drawings begin at 5pm. We are looking for donations of cash, raffle items, or other items to be used the day of the event. Any donation is greatly appreciated. All donors will be recognized on our Facebook page: Trail Ride for a Cure -Florence, WI.

Florence, WI --- On Saturday, December 1st from 10 am until 3 pm the Chamber of Commerce is hosting 9th Annual Christmas in Florence at the Florence High School gym and cafeteria. There will be over 70 vendors in the gym offering a large variety of unique hand-made arts and craft items as well as other gifts for sale to help you with your Christmas shopping. There are many activiites for kids. Sitting on Santa's lap is always a big hit as well as listening to stories from Mrs. Claus. They arrive at 10:30am. Your children will love making hands-on craft projects with our FHS TORPEDOS students. Homemade Chili, Christmas cookies and other delicious food items will be for sale in the cafeteria. The musical Yadro family if performing in the Library from 10am-11am. And the FHS Jazz Band and Show Choir are performing in the auditorium from 11am-noon. This event is free and includes a chance to win many door prizes.
