Florence, WI --- Christmas is coming—sooner than you think! It never fails, the holiday season sneaks up faster and faster each year. Before you know it, Christmas will be here, along with the “last minute” shopping. Why not avoid the crowds and a long drive and shop right here in Florence. On Saturday, December 6th from 11 am – 4 pm the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Christmas Shopping Bazaar at the Florence Community Center in conjunction with the Annual Christmas in Florence event. The Bazaar features over 40 vendors including a variety of unique hand-made arts and crafts created by local artists.

The rest of your family can listen to a Christmas music performances, have a cookie or grab a bowl of the Firemen’s Famous Chili. Your children will love making hands-on craft projects with our FHS TORPEDOS students in the Rescue Hall, enter the snowman building contest (snow will be provided), watch professional ice sculptors perform their magic, sit on Santa’s lap or hear a story from Mrs. Claus. The free wagon rides are also very popular. The day ends at 4 pm with a community “Lighting of the Trees” while singing Silent Night by candlelight. This event is free and includes a chance to win many door prizes. For more information visit www.florencecountychamber.org.
