Keyes Peak Summerfest & Pig Roast

The 28th Annual Annual Keyes Peak Summerfest & Pig Roast is Saturday, August 6th from noon-11pm. Come enjoy great food and live music on Keyes Lake, 3 miles south of Florence on Hwy 101. The Steeno’s perform from noon-3, Wiskey Stil plays from 3 – 7 and the band OZ will rock from 7 until 11. Proceeds benefit Keyes Peak Ski Hill.

Hunnies, Hot Rods & Hogs

This new car and bike show is free to the pubic from 9am - 2pm at Keyes Peak Ski Lodge 3 miles south of Florence on Hwy 101. Proceeds benefit Hiram D. Fisher Lodge #222 charitable programs. Entry fees for cars and bikes is $10. Registration runs from 9am until 11am. Awards will be announced at 1pm.

You can also pay $20 to be one of the models that pose for portfolio pictures on the entries. Photographers can pay $30 to take portfolio pictures as well. Free hair and make-up is available for the models starting at 7am in the lodge courtesy of Salon 323.

Make sure to visit Summerfest across the road when you are done for some great food and live music by the lake from noon until 11pm. Car and bike show exhibitors get free access to Summerfest.

Blue Ox Trail Riders Annual Poker Run

Florence County Economic Development is hosting a meeting at 6pm on August 10th for local producers of food or non-food items to get together to discuss ways to collectively sell more products on a common website or in a local store. This informal meeting at the Florence Community Center will include information on a variety of options and best practices that have worked in other areas.

Create your team today and start fundraising for this fun filled day to help fund a treatment and a cure for spinal muscular atrophy. Join us for a 5K run or a mini golf tournament at Keyes Lake Campground. Both events take place at 11:00 AM on August 21, 2016. Run cost $20 for adult or $15 for under 18. Mini golf team is $50. The mini golf tournament is maxed at 36 pairs. There will also be a Meet and Greet with former Green Bay Packer player Gilbert Brown after the race!

KAMO Youth Pheasant Hunt

Florence, WI --- Christmas is coming; sooner than you think! It never fails, the holiday season sneaks up faster and faster each year. Before you know it, Christmas will be here, along with the last minute shopping. Why not avoid the crowds and a long drive and shop right here in Florence. On Saturday, December 3rd from 11 am until 4 pm the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Christmas Shopping Bazaar at the Florence Community Center in conjunction with the Annual Christmas in Florence event. The Bazaar features over 40 vendors including a variety of unique hand-made arts and crafts created by local artists. You can also have a cookie or grab a bowl of homemade Chili. Your children will love making hands-on craft projects with our FHS TORPEDOS students, play in the snow pile made by the Keyes Peak Ski Hill committee, sit on Santa's lap or hear a story from Mrs. Claus. The free horse drawn wagon rides are also very popular. This event is free and includes a chance to win many door prizes.
